Masayuki Kotake

Mechanical Engineer

Born in Kobe, spent six years of junior high and high school in Hiroshima.Majored in mechanical engineering at Osaka City University (now Osaka Public University).After completing the graduate school, he joined a major heavy industry manufacturer with a desire to create something that did not exist in the world.For about 20 years, he was involved in the development and design of mechanical, electrical, and control products as an engineer, and was engaged in a wide range of activities from collaboration with customers to operation at manufacturing sites.He was the first in Japan to commercialize an automatic anchoring system for ships, for which he obtained a patent, and the system has been installed on many ships.After retirement, he returned to Hiroshima and joined Autonomous.He enjoys train travel and cycling, and after completing all JR lines, he ventured overseas, traveling by train to 18 countries in Europe and the U.S.
