Shingo Doukan

Mechanical Design Lead

After graduating from Hiroshima Prefectural Hiroshima Technical High School, he gained over 20 years of experience as a mechanical designer, focusing on labor-saving equipment for the automotive industry. He has contributed to automation and labor saving in a wide range of processes such as conveyance, fastening, press fitting, measurement, and inspection. He has also designed many facilities using industrial robots (multi-axis, SCARA, parallel link, etc.) and verified machine operation using 3D simulation software. Although he was independent for a while, he joined Autonomous with the desire to contribute to local manufacturing as a team. Currently, he is passionate about creating a structure for design activities, including the use of digital design tools to improve design efficiency and the training of young human resources. His hobbies include reading and watching kagura (he is willing to travel far for his favorite kagura troupe).
