Hidemitsu Kougehata
Senior Fellow
After graduating from university, Hidemitsu began his career as a systems engineer at a computer company, developing package software for financial institutions. He then joined an automobile manufacturer, where he developed a lot-based production instruction system for press lines and was responsible for its implementation and training at a U.S. subsidiary. Later, at a safe manufacturing company, he was involved in planning new products and supporting sales. At its affiliated company, he served as an executive in charge of general affairs, contributing to the company’s growth through the establishment of systems required for ISO certification, Privacy Mark, and construction business licensing. With extensive experience ranging from IT system development to corporate management, he brings a broad and rich career background. His hobbies include studying ancient Katakamuna script and participating in the “Makomo Project” to cultivate and promote makomo, a plant said to have existed since ancient times. He is also interested in growing rice and vegetables using natural farming methods. His motto is “Love, Gratitude, and Harmony.
